Support for OST Supervisors
Are you a supervisor who has struggled to train staff in the complicated area of behavior management strategies? The "Training That 'Sticks'" model aims to provide an alternative approach to behavior management training that promotes ongoing staff growth and development. This model was designed specifically for OST supervisors who face the unique challenges of the OST workforce: limited time for training, a high number of part-time staff, significant levels of staff turnover, and working with staff who haven't had formal youth development training.
About Us
OST Training That "Sticks" is based out of Salt Lake City, Utah.
The system was developed over hundreds of hours based off current OST, education, and child development research and 20+ years of experience working with children and youth. The author credits the National Institute on Out of School Time for providing guidance and feedback throughout the product development process.
Your purchases support a fellow OST supervisor to develop additional training materials, with the goal of creating a resource for staff working with older youth/teens.
The author is also available to provide workshops on the model for your organization; please contact [Click for Email Address] for more information.
